A Screen-Free Summer on the Farm
This is not a sit-inside, screen-filled summer. This is a childhood summer.
Children spend their days caring for animals, exploring the woods, creating art, building projects, and discovering the joy of real work on our nature-based farm campus.
Small groups, meaningful projects, and outdoor adventures help campers grow in confidence, creativity, and independence.
Spots fill quickly each summer. Reserve your child's week early.

π Special Featured Camp Week
EmpowerLit Summer Camp is a half-day outdoor enrichment program designed to strengthen literacy skills while building confidence, creativity, and self-expression in children ages 5β10.
π June 22 β June 26
π 9:00 AM β 12:00 PM
π Held at Wondering Woods Farm
In a supportive, low-pressure environment where every child's voice is valued, campers write and illustrate their own story, publish a hardcover book, create and perform plays, and write personalized songs about self-esteem and identity.
This program is ideal for creative children who enjoy storytelling, writing, performing, or who would benefit from a confidence-boosting, encouraging environment.
Full-Day Option: Families may pair this morning camp with Mindful Journey Academy's afternoon summer camp program for a full-day experience.
Each week features a unique hands-on theme, from geology and fiber arts to cooking, science, and nature art. Children work on projects throughout the week and celebrate their accomplishments by Friday. Some specialty weeks include partnerships with local educators and nonprofit programs.
This summer, campers who enjoy baking may have the opportunity to participate in Battle of the Cakes, a youth baking challenge hosted by EmpowerLit.
Children will explore cake design, decorating techniques, creativity, and presentation while preparing for a friendly baking competition.
This opportunity is limited to 15 participants and registration will open through EmpowerLit in June 2026.
Parents interested in this opportunity may complete the interest form below.

We believe children grow confident when they know their work can make a difference.
Every camper helps care for animals and the land. Through feeding, watering, and tending the garden, children learn responsibility, empathy, and teamwork.
Families choose Mindful Journey Academy Summer Camp because children experience something rare β real responsibility, meaningful work, and joyful outdoor exploration.
By the end of the week, many children feel a deep sense of pride in what they've created and contributed.
That's the Mindful Journey difference.
